BJANA Celebrates Holi 2006

It's my great pleasure to announce a very successful celebration of Holi. About more than 200 people attended the event. I congratulate the current executive committee for the same. We have 3 dignitaries at the event: Padma Khanna Ji, Mr. Upendra Chivukula, assemblyman and Mr. Ravindra Nath Panda, Consul. Our MC, Mr. Jagdish Sidana was just wonderful. Cultural program was awesome. Thanks to Indianica and Creations Dance Academy for providing some of the wonderful artists. Directions:
From New York: Take NJ Turnpike south, Exit-12 (for Carteret/ Rahway). Turn left at the first traffic light into Roosevelt Avenue. At the 2nd traffic light (i.e. 1st traffic light after SHOPRITE, McDonalds and Burger King on the right) turn left to stay on Roosevelt Avenue. The DeMetrius Community Center is on the right side about 1/2 mile after the traffic light.

From south on New Jersey: Take NJ Turnpike North, take Exit 12 (for Carteret/Rahway). Follow the direction given above.

Alternate Route: Take Route 1 North then Exit for Rahway. Follow sign for NJTP and pass Rahway MVA. This will take you to Roosevelt Avenue. At 1st traffic light after Burger king (Burger King is 1/2 mile after Turnpike entrance, also you will pass Shoprite and McDonald before Burger King), turn left to stay on Roosevelt Av. The DeMetrius Community Center is on the right side about 1/2 mile after the traffic light.
